We will share a book list teaser when it is finalized.

We will be updating the History of Me curriculum to be more flexible, in order to support a greater variety of family structures. We will be updating our list of recommended heroes to choose from for hero studies.

We will be updating the format of the nature study and science curricula to provide supporting materials for visual learners (video links, picture book recommendations, etc.) and hands-on learners (ideas for activities for each week’s space study.)

We will be changing up some of the general book choices to find stories that feature more diverse characters and support a greater panel of authors. We will share a book list teaser when it is finalized.

A River of Voices, Vol. 1

We will be releasing a new edition with a few minor alterations this fall (2020.) We are simply updating with additional resources recommended by one of our consultants this past spring. Whenever we release a new edition any volume of A River of Voices, we will also send out a brief PDF documenting the changes so that you can simply make a note in your existing parent guide. You will not need to print out an entire new guide. We plan to review / revise A River of Voices every six to twelve months.

The “Essential Understandings” link from National Museum of the American Indian (standard / advanced) has changed. You can now find it here: https://americanindian.si.edu/nk360/about/understandings . We will update this link in the clickable links guide soon.
